About Gwyn Ramsey

I'm a native of Jennings, Missouri. I grew up reading volumes of Nancy Drew Mystery novels, Little Women, Treasure Island, Anne of Green Gables, and many others. At Florissant Valley Community College in Missouri, I pursuing a Computer Applications Associates Degree.

In 1985, I published a quarterly genealogy newsletter, as a culmination of many hours of research. Several years later, I wrote an article for the Veteran's Affair Office dealing with AGENT ORANGE and the effects on our military in Vietnam.

When my husband, our Rottweiller, and I moved to Port Charlotte, Florida, I decided to try my hand at writing. I figured sitting in front of my computer and typing out a manuscript would be an easy task. As my writing evolved into chapter after chapter, the realization of a part-time hobby grew into a full-time job. I delved into historical research that piqued my interest more and more as my craftskills increased in scope and quality.

At the present time, I belong to a Port Charlotte writer's critique group, Tampa Area Romance Authors in Florida, Romance Writers of America, and Woman Writing the West.
